23 Dec 2008 – A new “Tsehai Loves Learning” DVD, “Volume 2 – Love,” has just been released.  The DVD features episodes focused on the character building aspects of the “Tsehai Loves Learning” curriculum.  The disc includes the Japan Prize 2008 winning episode “Love” which has a secondary objective of Ethiopian alphabet literacy, and the Baka Forum nominated episode “Truthfulness.”  To see previews of this disc or to purchase a copy, please visit our sister website at Tsehai.com.  The DVD helps Ethiopian children living abroad or adopted to foreign families stay connected with their language and culture.  The proceeds from the sale of this disc go towards the production of new episodes of “Tsehai Loves Learning.”

17 Dec 2008 – Basel Prize – “Tsehai Loves Learning” episode “Truthfulness” was selected as a finalist at the Baka Forum to be held in Basel, Switzerland, 30th Jan to 2nd Feb 2009.

25 Nov 2008 – The founders of Whiz Kids Workshop are in United States trying to raise funding for the creation of more episodes of “Tsehai Loves Learning.”  They will be focusing their energies towards the release of a new “Tsehai Loves Learning” DVD, towards direct fund-raising and grant writing, and towards increasing public awareness of their initiatives and success in Ethiopia.  They will continue to direct the production of new episodes of “Tsehai Loves Learning” during their stay in the United States.
